For this project it was essential that TGS Landscape Architects created a landscape that was consistent with the Bunning’s corporate image. The brief for this project was to create a sustainable, low maintenance landscape that would complement and connect with the existing commercial precinct.

A predominantly native garden, TGS Landscape Architects incorporated feature plantings of Gymea Lilies and Bronze Hopseed Bush to accentuate the entry points and a mixture of Turpentines, Water Gums, Blueberry Ash’s along the street frontages that will ultimately assist in reducing the overall scale of this development.

With dense screening plants to soften the building’s physical form at the rear, the stormwater detention basins at the front were landscaped with a selection of plants that would be both aesthetically attractive and successful in withstanding temporary inundation without failure.
